Lawyers can sometime be intimidated or concerned about the propriety of asking the judge certain procedural questions regarding the application of a rule that might be less than clear or instructive. Moreover, practical and professionalism issues may arise between counsel for the parties and the judge’s office during the course of workers’ compensation litigation that Rule 60Q or Chapter 440 do not always adequately address. Judge Lazzara will provide suggestions and practical advice in addressing the top 10 questions or issues he has experienced during his years of adjudicating work-related injury claims that have proven troublesome for practitioners and their staff.
